Duff Consulting provides a mobile training service and have run courses in metropolitan, rural and remote areas throughout every state and territory in Australia. These courses are run in partnership with Health Security & Education (RTO 40907) who are our Registered Training Organisation and produce the Statements of Attainment. We have been operating for over twenty years, delivering needs-based training courses, Quality Assurance auditing, and other related services to industry. Our current training courses include ACDC (Commercial Operator) and Agricultural and Veterinary Chemical Accreditation, Chainsaw Basic Accreditation, Fall Trees (Basic & Intermediate), Operate a Pole Saw and Identify Plant Specimens.
Our principal and lead trainer, Stephen Duff, is a well-known and respected rural industry identity and trainer through his involvement at a professional and in a representative capacity at an industry, government, and enterprise level. He has delivered thousands of chemical, chainsaw, polesaw, plant identification and tree-felling courses throughout Australia. Stephen has also developed a series of record keeping books in response to his experiences as a trainer and auditor.
Mr. Duff has an established record of rural industry leadership. He is a former Chairman of the Queensland Rural Industry Training Council, the Queensland Board of Senior Secondary School Studies – Rural Curriculum Advisory Committee and the Queensland Government’s Primary Industries Policy Committee. Mr. Duff has also served on the Queensland Farmsafe Committee and the executive of the Rural Training Council of Australia. Mr. Duff has been a recipient of the Cattlemen’s Union Overseas Study Scholarship where he studied Animal Science at Texas A & M University, Texas, USA. He is also a former Australian Representative for the Australian Council of Young Political Leaders and was part of the USA Delegation in 1996.
